RUBIK’S CUBE GOES COLOUR BLIND

By replacing bright colours with raised Braille, Konstanin Datz’s design introduces the classic Rubik’s Cube to a new audience.

The German designer’s work demonstrates how a simple change may refresh a familiar product.
The only thing that remains the same? It’s near impossibility to solve!

Looking for a new way to put romance (among other things) in the air?

According to Dutch design company OOOMS, their Wineglass Light can be described as “…perfect lighting for those long romantic evenings accompanied by a nice Bordeaux. The LEDs inside will shine for over 30,000 hours, so that’s around ten years of romance…”
Truly a bargain.

‘Now Hang Up On Me, Just Like That, Hang up On Me Darling’ is just one of Mark Khaisman’s amazing pieces of art made entirely out of packaging tape.
The Ukraine-born resident of Philadelphia builds up layers of tape on a plexiglass sheet to create a range of opacity.
The sheet is then mounted on a light box. Mark’s subjects range from suits or armour and chairs to people.
